Pursuant to Ohio Board of Nursing Rule 4723-14-05 Item 6, The Addiction Studies
Institute will be using credit approved by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals
Board for Nursing CEUs. These hours will be recognized by the Ohio Board
of Nursing for license renewal. Nurses from states other than Ohio should
check with their licensing bodies to verify they will accept this credit

A certificate of attendance will be
provided for any participant requesting one.
One (1) semester credit hour of undergraduate or graduate academic credit is
available for Institute attendance through The Ohio State University College
of Social Work. Academic course tuition and conference fees are required. Receipt
of academic credit requires enrollment in Social Work 5021, attendance of 25.5
hours of course work during the Institute, and a written reaction paper following
completion of the Institute. In addition, students must register for the Institute
and pay conference fees through the Institute’s website at www.addictionstudiesinstitute.com.

Two (2) semester hours of undergraduate academic credit are available for Institute
attendance through the Hocking College Addiction Counseling Program. Any individual
with a High School diploma or GED may enroll on a non-degree basis through
Hocking College. Academic course tuition and conference fees are required.
Receipt of academic credit requires attendance of 22.25 hours of course work
during the Institute and a written reaction paper following completion of the
